The Q&A Archives: snow fountain weeping cherry

Question: When is the best time to trim branches?

Answer: Weeping cherry trees are traditionally pruned right after flowering. You can prune now, but do it before August so the new growth has a chance to harden off before the weather cools in the fall. Best wishes with your landscape!
