the leaves on one of my zucchini plants have a white powdery spots all over them. I sprayed them with an insecticide but the leaves are still powdery and the bottom leaves are turning yellow. I have one zucchini that is growing but I don't have any others. I need advice on this condition. thank you

It sounds like your squash plants have developed a fungal disease called powdery mildew. Sadly, it is difficult to control, even with fungicides. There are some disease resistant varieties that you can plant next season, but I suspect your current plants will die before they can produce squash. Be sure to remove the plant debris from the garden. Wish I had better news for you.
