The Q&A Archives: My Japanese maple seeding

Question: I have blood-good japnese maple tree from seed, now is about 2-21/2

Answer: You can use regular potting soil for your seedlings. I'd recommend using a larger, deeper pot because maple trees have long roots. Use a pot that is about 6" deep for your seedlings. Best wishes with your new little trees.
