I have a Japanese Lilac tree which I planted 2 years ago. It's blooming white flowers but I noticed the tree is slow growing & the thickness of the bark still the same as when we bought it. Is that normal or what can we do to make the bark grow fuller in size?

Japanese Lilac tree is rather slow growing so I don't think there's anything wrong with yours. They need full sunshine and ample water. You can feed with a 5-10-10 each spring to encourage new growth and you can prune after the flowers fade to also encourage new growth. Best wishes with your lilac tree!
