I have a Japanese Lilac tree which I planted 2 years ago. It's blooming white flowers but I noticed the tree is slow growing & the thickness of the bark still the same as when we bought it. Is that normal or what can we do to make the bark grow fuller in size? |
Japanese Lilac tree is rather slow growing so I don't think there's anything wrong with yours. They need full sunshine and ample water. You can feed with a 5-10-10 each spring to encourage new growth and you can prune after the flowers fade to also encourage new growth. Best wishes with your lilac tree! |
