Hi,We are having our son's birthday party in a month and desperately need to pave a section in my yard. We just got the house and there is plenty of yard work needed, but paving is something we need to start this weekend if possible. My stepfather went to a class home depot gave on how to pave the yard but Any directions on where to start will be really helpful! thanks!I Live in Rochelle Park, NJ

The first step is to decide where you are going to pave and then build a frame to contain the paved area. Then you'll need to excavate the are and level it to receive the pavers. The next step is to lay 2-3 inches of builder's sand in the area and compact it (you can rent a tamper). Set the pavers, spread sand over the top and brush it into the spaces between the pavers, then use the tamper to compact everything. It can be a weekend job if you have a few people to help. Good luck with your project!
