We just got the house and there is plenty of yard work needed, but paving is something we need to start this weekend if possible. | The first step is to decide where you are going to pave and then build a frame to contain the paved area. Then you'll need to excavate the are and level it to receive the pavers. The next step is to lay 2-3 inches of builder's sand in the area and compact it (you can rent a tamper). Set the pavers, spread sand over the top and brush it into the spaces between the pavers, then use the tamper to compact everything. It can be a weekend job if you have a few people to help.
