If the roots of your plants are shallow, due to compacted soils, or if you water lightly instead of giving them a deep soaking, they will show some wilting when the weather is sunny. When you add soil amendments such as Miracle Gro garden soil, it's important to dig the amendments into the native soil so they are well mixed. This will encourage roots to grow deep rather than stay in the amended soil. You can't changee the soil now that everything is planted, but you can water deeply when you do water, to encourage deep root growth. This will help your plants endure the weather. Best wishes with your garden.
