Hello again. I was wondering how well aten daylilies, asiatic panther lilies and LA lilies will do in North Hollywood California. I think it may be zone 9. Will they have enough chill to come back? If they will work, when should I plant them?

Asiatic lilies need a pronounced winter chill so you can either grow them as annuals and replace them each year, or you can dig the bulbs in the fall and set them in your refrigerator for 12-14 weeks then replant them in the garden in the spring. Best wishes with your lilies!
