The Q&A Archives: Delphiniums

Question: My delphiniums are not growing. Why not?

Answer: You didn't give us too many clues to help solve your problem, but here are some basics: delphiniums grow best in full sunshine, planted in rich, porous soil that is slightly alkaline. If yours is planted in the right spot, perhaps they just need a little fertilizer to help them get going. Try an application of 10-20-20, or use compost as a mulch around the plants for slow release of nutrients. Hope this encourages your delphiniums to grow and blossom!
