My neighbor has a magnolia tree and this spring it bloomed but the late spring frosts caught it. Now it is blooming again and producing seed pods as well. Is it natural for a magnolia tree in south central PA to do this?

What fun! Some types of magnolia will rebloom sporadically on new growth during the summer. Magnolia soulangiana, which is often seen in your area, is in this group. Enjoy!
