Thank you for your reply. My daylilies are in full sun, as well as my Tahiti Sunrise. The soil where they are positioned have been ammended with paet moss and compost. I don't know how long it takes for the pest to stop eating on them. I did have a bad problem a couple of weeks ago. Is this a good position for them to be in? I want them to thrive. |
They should thrive in full sunshine and well amended soil. Water deeply twice a week when the weather is hot, once a week when temperatures begin to cool. If some of the leaves are turning brown because of insect damage, just cut them off at soil level. It sometimes takes a garden a full season to settle down and become more productive. As your plants grow larger and have more mature root systems you'll see lots more growth each spring. Just be patient with your plants and they will eventually grow large and have lots and lots of flowers. Best wishes with your garden! |
