Whenis the best time to prune azaleas? Mine are leggy and I'd like to shape them. Thanks! |
Azaleas should be pruned immediately after they have finished flowering. They spend the summer months developing flower buds for next spring's floral display so if you prune too late in the summer you will trim off next years flowers. You can prune now but try to avoid removing too many flower buds. Enjoy your garden. |
