The Q&A Archives: dead tree

Question: eastern redbud planted 3 m ounths ago was doing graet

Answer: Water stress is the usual reason for death of new trees and shrubs. They need about one inch of water per week in order to thrive, but the soil also needs to drain well. Without knowing how the redbud was cared for or how well your soil drains, I don't really know what to suggest. Sorry about your redbud.
