Unless you are planting in containers, you won't need to purchase soil for your flowers. Instead, you can amend your garden soil with organic matter such as compost or aged manure. Just spread 3-4 inches over the top of the bed and dig it in to a depth of 8-10 inches before planting your flowers. If you are planting in containers, purchase potting soil. Miracle Gro, Kellogg's or other brands are good investments. Good luck with your flowers.
