Last fall I planted allium bulbs and had beautiful flowers this spring. After the flowers died back I noticed seeds. What will grow from those and will the bulbs come back next spring?

Thanks!

You can harvest the seeds and plant them. They will grow into plants next spring and begin to develop bulbs underground. In 2-3 years the bulbs will become large and you will have new allium plants which will flower for you. The original bulbs you planted will continue to grow and each spring will develop new foliage and flowers. Enjoy!
