hi, i had a couple questions, what's causing my honeydew vine to start having white spots appear on it's leaves? It also seems to have an aphid problem that is almost uncontrolable, there's aphids under every single leaf, will this ruin my melons?

The white spots are most likely the early development stages of a fungal disease called powdery mildew. You may be able to control the disease if your remove the infected leaves or if you use a copper based fungicide on the plants. Aphids can usually be controlled with insecticidal soap sprays but you must be very thorough in your spray program, spraying both the upper and the lower leaf surfaces. Aphid feeding can cause the leaves to yellow and die off so try to control the pests if you can. Best wishes with your melons!
