The Q&A Archives: Soil for gardenias

Question: What soil do I use for planting gardenias in a pot?

Any regular potting soil is fine for gardenias. They like soils on the acidic side and since potting soils are comprised of bark chips, peat moss, sand and compost, the soil should be just fine for them. Best wishes with your new gardenia.
