The Q&A Archives: Rose plant but no flowers.

Question: My Rose plant grew this year and it`s huge but their is no single flowers.Any suggestions ?

Answer: Roses can fail to flower if they are not getting enough sunshine or if they have gotten too much nitrogen fertilizer. Nitrogen promotes lots of lush, green growth but sometimes at the expense of flowers. If your rose bush is otherwise healthy, I think lack of adequate sun might be the answer.
