Hydrangea Blooms Turning Brown - Knowledgebase Question

Newly planted blue hydrangea has blossomed, but blooms then turned brown; should I deadhead or snip off old blooms? The plant is growing new leaves almost daily.

It sounds like your hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) is settling in nicely. If you find the browned flowers unsightly, by all means go ahead and trim them off. Enjoy your hydrangea!
