If by 'tea bush' you mean camellia, you will probably have good results if you water deeply once a week (twice a week in really hot weather). Camellias prefer to grow in shady sites, in organic rich soil. Prior to replanting, amend the soil with compost, peat moss or shredded leaf mold to help acidify the soil and make it rich and loamy. When you water, apply water slowly so it has a chance to percolate down and wet the entire root mass. Hope this information helps.
