The Q&A Archives: Can broadleaf weeds in the lawn be killed in August?
Question: Our lawn has a lot of clover and dollar weed in it. Can we put something on it to kill it now. Is there a better time to take care of this problem. I live in Lexington, KY.
Thank you, D. Rardin
Answer: It's never safe for your lawn to apply broadleaf weed killers in July and August. Wait until mid-September for best results.
