The Q&A Archives: sago palm

Question: my sago palm came up nice and green then very quickly turned brown. Now it has one leaf green and the rest are all brown as if it were dead.

Answer: It doesn't sound good for your sago. The hopeful note is that it developed a green leaf. That might mean that the roots are okay. Cut off the brown fronds and just keep your sago watered on a regular basis. If the roots are okay, you'll get new leaves on your plant. Hope it's soon!
