I planted plum tomatoes the end of May.I have Miracle Gro for tomatoes on them once a week for several weeks. Lots of healthy growth, tons of tomatoes all bright green. Shouldn't they be red now?

Some varieties can naturally take a very long time to harvest, so in part that may explain the problem. However, lack of sun (tomatoes need full sun all day long for best results) and even excess shade created by very leafy unpruned vines can also cause delayed ripening. Just be patient with your plants. Eventually they will ripen and you can enjoy!
