Answer: Fuchsias are tender plants so you'll either need a cool greenhouse or you can take tip cuttings in the fall and root them in small pots to keep indoors over the winter months. Set them on a sunny windowsill and they will be just fine. Or, if you have a shed or garage that remains above 40F you can simply set the container in the building over the winter months. They will lose their leaves but the roots and stems will remain alive. Allow the soil to dry out and then water them once every 30 days or so. Good luck with your fuchsias.
