| My orchid has developed a large white spot, brown edge on the orchid leaves. Could too much sunlight cause this. It was left out but just for a short time. |
| Sunscald is a real possibility if your orchid is normally in a shady place and it got direct sunshine. As long as there is still some green on the leaf I would leave it alone. It's still manufacturing food for the roots of your plant. When it turns completely yellow or brown you can prune it off the plant. |
