When is the best time to plant a new 5 gl. lemon tree? I live in the East Bay Hills, we have warm summers and wet winters, with some frosty nights.

Both spring and fall are good times to plant landscape trees and shrubs. This is when temperatures are cooler and rainfall usually abundant so the roots can establish quickly. Best wishes with your new lemon tree!
