I recently planted a new lawn in June and it has come in pretty good with a few bare spots. When I planted it I used a starter fertilizer 8-32-16. I wanted to know if I should fertilize again and if so which fertilizer would be best more starter or possibly 16-16-16? Thanks so much. PS I live in Alaska |
You can feed your new lawn with a 3-1-2 ratio of NPK now and again in the fall to help the roots maintain vigor over the winter months. I'd use a 21-7-14 or something similar (whatever is locally available). You can overseed any bare spots now and the lawn should thicken up before cold weather returns. Enjoy your new lawn! |
