| Both cucumbers and tomatoes can be grown on a trellis or you can use tomato cages to keep them up off the ground. It's easiest to place the cages over the plants while they are small and train them then so if your plants are large and out of control now you may be able to coax them up onto trellises without breaking the vines or stems. I've even seen gardeners make A-frames out of trellising materials and grow the plants up one side and down the other. Perhaps this will work with your plants. Hope so! |
