I have 2 hanging basket bouganvillias. (Waco, TX) They blossom but the leaves are not dark green; they have turned a very light green. Are they lacking something?

Sounds like they need a dose of nitrogen. I'd use an iron based product, just to hedge all the bets. In hanging baskets you're probably using potting soil, but the tap water you use can be alkaline enough to cause chlorosis. Use a water soluable fertilizer (such as Miracle Gro) to help your bougainvilleas green up. Best wishes with your plants.
