Just bought some ine 1 gallon pots. Want to hide a wood fence. How far apart do I plant them and how far away from the wood fence? Thanks

Oleanders typically grow 6-10 feet tall and wide. You can prune them annually to control the size and to keep them full and busy. I'd plant them 4' away from the fence so you'll have room to walk behind and prune, and 4-5' apart so they will grow together to form a thick hedge. Annual shearing will force new growth in the center of the plant to make a dense and thick privacy screen. Planting them closer will provide quicker coverage of your fence, if that's what you had in mind. Best wishes with your new oleanders!
