On the offshoots of my varigated spider plant there are green |
It is highly unusual for a spider plant to develop seed pods, but it can certainly happen. The seed pods are 3-sided and each section can contain a viable seed. If your plant does, indeed, have a seed pod, allow it to dry out on the plant, then harvest the pod, open it up and plant the seeds. Other possibilities for the growth are immature roots (they will elongate eventually), and water storage organs the plants sometimes develop. Only time will tell what your spider plant is actually growing! |
