| The mystery potion sold as 'SuperThrive' gets a lot of press, but you'll find very little information in those paragraphs and endorsements. Harold Garrett, the Texas 'Dirt Doctor', describes Superthrive as 'A liquid product made from vitamins and hormones. It is a good supplement for flowering plants. Use at 3 drops per gallon at each watering for best results. It can be mixed with other products.' I don't like that description I'd like to know exactly what's in the product. When someone is that secretive, they look sneaky to me. So, I can't really tell you what is in Superthrive. BR-61- has an NPK ratio of 9-58-8. It is a blossom booster for all flowering plants. Chicken manure is a good organic soil amendment with an NPL ratio of 1.1 .80 .50. Likewise with cow manure (NPK .25 .15 .25). Miracle Gro has an analysis of 20-20-20. Of all the products you list, Miracle Gro has the most bang for the buck. You can use it exclusively and yuor garden plants will receive all of the nutrients they crave. Tap water is fine for most plants; bottled water for some houseplants that are sensitive to fluoride or chlorine, if you have those in your water supply. Hope this answers all your questions. |
