The Q&A Archives: Roasting Chilis

Question: What is the proper way to roast chillis? I am new to this and don't want to mess it up!

Answer: Here's an easy way to roast chilis: Place them in a baking pan in a 375F degree oven. Use tongs to turn them every five miutes or so until they're charred and blistered on all sides. (May take 15-20 minutes in the oven.) Then let them rest for 5 minutes and pull the skins off.
