I planted two pepper plants in my pine straw covered flower bed by my deck. The plants had peppers but just now when I went out I saw holes in the peppers and a big ugly worm fell out of the pepper. Looked like a big larve or magot or something nasty. Also noticed the leaves are getting holes in them. Also something eating my basil right by the peppers. What do I do? HELP.

You can hand pick that nasty caterpillar and get him out of the garden. To control additional caterpillars, you can use Bt (sold as Dipel or Thuricide). Bt targets caterpillars but won't harm your peppers, people or pets. Good luck with your garden!
