| When is the best time to water? I've been told not to water in the middle of the day, also not in the evening because of fungus. I want to turn on the sprinkler and water that way. |
| Everything you've heard is right. If you water late in the afternoon or early in the evening and the plants or turf do not have a chance to dry out before nightfall, your plants could be more prone to diseases. But, you can water every early in the day - before sunrise, or up until mid-morning. Or you can water in mid-afternoon (3-4 p.m.) Hope this clarifies things for you. |
