I have a very large pumpkin with one pumpkin about as big as a basketball. We planted in June. Should I have more than one pumpkin? How do I get more than one if so?

As the vines grow they should flower and develop new pumpkins. It's getting a little late in the season, though, for them to fully develop and mature new squash so you may have to be happy with your single pumpkin. Good luck with your pumpkins!
