I can't tell without examining the plants but the browning leaves can be due to sunburn, to over watering, over crowding or even a fungal disease. I would prune away the browning foliage to make room for healthy new growth. If the new leaves develop the same browning, you may need to dig and divide your daylilies to provide them with more elbow room, or you may need to spray them with a fungicide. Wish I had more ideas to share. Good luck with your daylilies.
