I am having trouble with my lavendar.The 3 plants came back from last year, but they appear to be dying now.

Lavender benefits from well draining soils that are kept on the dry side. Try to water thoroughly and then allow the soil a chance to dry out before watering again. I'd trim the plants back by one third to encourage healthy new growth. If the roots are healthy, the plants will respond with lots of new growth. Best wishes with your lavender.
