On Aug 3rd you responded to my moths in lawn as follows: Orthene Turf, Tree and Ornamental insecticide will work, as will the botanical Bacillus thuringiensis kurstaki sold as Dipel 2x, Dipel DF (Abbott), or Dipel 150 (Bonide).
BUT - neiter HD nor Lowes nor another garden store has these. Alternatives?

That complicates things, doesn't it? The bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is registered for use against all three species of sod webworms and is most effective in controlling young larvae. Some commercial products include Dipel, Green Light Bt Worm Killer, Safer Caterpillar Killer, and Thuricide. I'm sure one of these is carried in your local Home Depot garden center.
