The Q&A Archives: cherry tree

Question: i was giving a small tree not sure of type it is about afoot tall. the leaves are browning or looks like rust. what can i do? thanks janice

Answer: Browing leaves can indicate over watering, under watering, sunscald or wind damage. Or, it might indicate a disease. At this point I'd simply wait and watch. Water your tree deeply once or twice a week. With any luck at all it is just trying to adjust to its new home and will begin to develop healthy new leaves. Hope so!
