Palm tree - Knowledgebase Question

I was given a palm tree that needed some care,it had some rust,I have it in my backyard,should it have full sun exposure?I hosed it down amd sprayed some liquid for fungus and rust.Can it be saved?

Most palms grow best in full sunshine, but if yours was growing in a shady spot before you got it, you should probably provide the same conditions in your own yard - at least until you can nurse it back to health. Once it puts out healthy new growth you can gradually move it into more and more sunshine until it is in full sun. Hope your palm recovers soon.
