The Q&A Archives: Pumpkins Per Vine/Seed

Question: I would like to know how many pumpkins grow from one seed. I planted one seed, so will I get one pumpkin, or will many pumpkins grow from the one seed?

Answer: There is an old saying that goes like this: "Man can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed!" I guess the same can be said for pumpkins. You won't just get one but should expect several, depending on the variety, care and growing conditions. I would be expect to see at least 3 or 4, and maybe more.

Enjoy your pumpkins!
