The Q&A Archives: upside down tomatoes plant

Question: I didn't get any tomatoes
that I put them upside down to late in late may
in sunny Arizona or what
happen please help.?

Answer: Your timing is a little off for tomato production in the Phoenix area. Your first opportunity is planting in late February so the plant can flower and set fruit by June. The second growing opportunity is in September so plants can flower and set fruit before the end of December. The weather in June through August is just too hot for flower production and fruit set. If your plant is still healthy, just keep giving it good care and as the weather cools later this month your plant should begin to flower and set fruit. Hope you have a great harvest!
