The Q&A Archives: Planting time?

Question: When is the best time to purchase and plant a dwarf burning bush? Are there any special instructions that must be followed when I plant it?

Thank You,
Paul Gaddess

Answer: Either spring or early fall are good times to plant landscape trees and shrubs. That's when the weather isn't quite so hot and rainfall usually abundant, both of which will help the roots establish quickly. Plant your burning bush in a sunny spot and water it deeply once a week after it has been planted. It should establish quickly and grow nicely for you. Enjoy!
