The Q&A Archives: Leaf Spots

Question: I think this is a kind of corn plant but unsure. Anyway, can you see the spots on the leaves and guess as to what is causing them?

Answer: The spots on the foliage look like everyday, run of the mill fungal spots. Overcrowded plants can develop the spots, especially when the foliage gets wet from rain or from water from the hose. You can use a general purpose garden fungicide to protect the unaffected leaves, or you can trim off the spotted leaves. Good luck with your garden!
