last year i had my lawn areiated and seeded. Do I have to do the same this year in august. If so When is the best time to arieate and seed.

When the soil beneath your lawn becomes compacted, aeration is the answer. It only needs to be done every 4-5 years so I don't think you'll need to do it again this year. Just keep you lawn well watered, feed it this September or October and mow on a regular basis and you should have the greenest lawn on the block.
