slugs in potted plant - Knowledgebase Question

I have several pots on my deck and noticed one or two had slugs ! How did this happen ?I thought my deck was fairly safe.

Nothing is safe from slugs! All it takes is one to lay a cluster of eggs and you've got a population on your hands. It may be that you imported them as eggs in the soil of a new plant. You can repot all of your plants or you can use one of the readily available baits to control them. I use Sluggo and it works really well. Good luck with your containerized plants!
