when is the best time to plant plum, pear and apricot trees in northern az, we have cold winters and 90's in the summer.

You can plant fruit trees in the fall (late September or October) or in the early spring (March or April). Planting in the cooler months of the year will allow the trees to become established before hot weather arrives. Best wishes with your new trees!
