Answer: Sedums are very adaptable plants and will thrive in full sun in most any well drained soil. I would only be concerned if the soil is on the extremely acid side, which it probably is not, because even azaleas don't like extremes. I would also fertilize sedum sparingly for best flowering. I have Sedum "Autumn Joy" growing alongside azaleas and both plants are thriving.
