Plumeria doesn't bloom. It grows larger every summer, |
If yours isn't blooming it may have wet feet or is being subjected to winter temperatures below 40F degrees. Plumeria rubra, Frangipani or Hawaiian Plumeria, is slightly more tolerant of temperatures below 40F degrees. It's a deciduous shrub or small tree with thick pointed leaves that drop in winter or early spring. It blooms from June-November if it receives full sunshine and is kept on the dry side during the winter months. You may have to make some changes in the soil drainage to keep the roots as dry as possible in the wintertime. Improving the growing conditions should make your plants happy enough to bloom for you. |
