Planted tomatoes for the first time in Tallahassee. Burpee B. Boy, Girl & Cherry. Have tremendous plants but few blooms. Used 10-10-10 and lime @ start. No blosum end rot. What did I do wrong so I can prepare for next year. |
Timing is everything when growing tomatoes in Florida, although soil type is important, as well. There's a terrific publication from the University of Florida Extension Service that not only explains the soil prep and cultural requirements but suggests varieties best suited to your region along with best planting dates.
